Any class for the D20 modern book is available to all characters and there is no penalty to multi-classing. You can then mix and match classes as you wish; just remember that taking a lot of classes will water down the character's mechanic strength and you will have trouble reaching the higher powered skills.

Prestige class are available with GM permission. Class skills for a prestige class are what ever class skills you have available to you already from your base character class levels.

Any questions feel free to ask away.
